RULES AND CONDITIONS OF THE RENTAL AGREEMENT

The rental owner or lessee must be over 18 years of age and will be responsible for the rented equipment. They must also have a valid National Identity Document or Passport, of which we will make a copy.

Payment for equipment rental must be made in advance for the full amount of the service and upon pickup.

A deposit of €150 will be paid for epoxy boards (all Indio, Pukas, Channel Islands by Torq models) and €100 for softboards, which will be returned upon delivery of the rented material if there are no replacement costs or other additional charges.

The tenant declares that he or she is in perfect health and in good physical condition to practice this sport. He or she should follow our recommendations based on his or her level of fitness and the conditions of the beaches.

Surfing equipment must be picked up at the Ocean Life Surf School located at Rafael Puig Lluvina Street No. 32, Unit No. 50, and returned to the same location at the agreed-upon date and time. Failure to comply with the agreed-upon schedule will result in a surcharge depending on the amount of overtime. Returning the equipment before the end of the contract will not result in any credit or refund.

The lessee is responsible for ensuring adequate coverage against risks that may arise during the rental period. The lessor is not liable for claims for accidents, injuries, collisions, or damage caused to the lessee or third parties (persons or property) during the rental period.

The lessee is obligated to take good care of the equipment and take all necessary precautions to protect it. For example, do not leave it facing up in the sun. Do not sit on it on sand or rocks. Etc.

Surf equipment rental does not include paraffin (wax). If the renter wishes to purchase a paraffin tablet, €2 will be added to the total rental price.

Surfing equipment rental does not include a vehicle restraint system. If the renter wishes to purchase one, €5 per day will be added to the total rental price.

It is prohibited to transfer, sell or exchange the rented surfing equipment.

The lessor may unilaterally terminate the contract before its expiration date in the event of a serious breach by the lessee in the use and care of the equipment. In this case, the lessor may immediately take possession of the equipment at its current location, without the lessee having any right to any claim or compensation.

The tenant may extend the term of this contract by notifying the landlord through the aforementioned means before the date specified. In this case, if the landlord so requests, a new contract must be signed.

The lessee expressly agrees to pay the lessor the charges corresponding to the prices of the current rates specified in this contract for the time of disposal of the material, which include legally applicable taxes, as well as the costs of replacement or any other additions mentioned above.

All legal costs arising from the tenant's failure to comply with the obligations established in this contract shall be borne by the tenant.

The data provided by the client will be used exclusively for the proper provision of the contracted service. In accordance with the law, the client may request access, rectification, cancellation, or objection by communicating with the landlord by any means.

Surfing equipment must be returned in the same condition as it was delivered. If this is not the case, the lessee must report any damage. The following replacement costs are imposed by the lessor and are accepted by the lessee in this contract.

SURFBOARDS:

Major damage, partial or total bending (felt), partial or total breakage, loss or theft will mean that the renter will have to pay €280 for a Softboard, €300 for an Evolutiva/Epoxy NSP or Torq board up to 7'5” and €380 for those over this size, €400 for an Indio, Pukas and Channel Islands by Torq board and €600 for the Torq longboard. Partial damage will be valued according to the extent of the damage: fiber breakage (hole or crack) between €20 and €50. Damage to the box or fin plugs between €60 and €80.

Tie:

Loss or theft will incur a €15 charge. Breakage of the invention (mooring) or minor damage will not incur an additional charge, as this is assumed to be a result of normal use of the equipment.
