TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE LEASE AGREEMENT

The renter must be over 18 years of age and will be responsible for the rented equipment. They must also possess a National Identity Document or Passport, of which we will make a copy.

The rental fee for the equipment will be paid in advance for the total cost of the service and at the time of collection.

A deposit of €150 will be required for epoxy boards (all models Indio, Pukas, Channel Islands by Torq) and €100 for softboards. This deposit will be refunded upon return of the rented equipment if there are no replacement costs or other additional charges.

The renter declares that they are in perfect health and have the necessary physical condition to practice this sport. They should take into account our recommendations according to their skill level and the beach conditions.

Surf equipment will be collected from Ocean Life Surf School at Rafael Puig Lluvina Street, No. 32, Local No. 50, and returned on the agreed date and time at the same location. Failure to return on time will incur a surcharge depending on the amount of extra time. Returning equipment before the end of the contract will not result in any refund or credit.

The tenant is responsible for obtaining adequate insurance coverage against any risks that may arise during the rental period. The landlord is not liable for claims related to accidents, injuries, blows, or damages caused to oneself or to third parties (persons or property) during the rental period.

The renter is obligated to take good care of the equipment and take all necessary precautions to protect it. For example, do not leave it facing upwards in the sun. Do not sit on the equipment on sand/rock. Etc.

Surf equipment rental does not include paraffin wax. If the renter wishes to purchase a paraffin bar, €2 will be added to the total rental price.

Surf equipment rental does not include a vehicle securing system. If the renter wishes to purchase this system, €5/day will be added to the total rental price.

It is forbidden to transfer, sell or exchange the rented surf equipment.

The lessor may unilaterally terminate the contract before its expiration date in the event of a serious breach by the lessee in the use and care of the equipment. In this case, the lessor may take immediate possession of the equipment at its current location, without the lessee being entitled to any claim or compensation.

The tenant may extend the term of this contract by notifying the landlord through the aforementioned channels before the contract's expiration date. In this case, if the landlord so requires, a new contract must be drawn up.

The lessee expressly agrees to pay the lessor the charges corresponding to the prices of the current rates specified in this contract for the time of availability of the material, including legally applicable taxes, as well as replacement costs or any other addition mentioned above.

All legal expenses arising from the tenant's failure to comply with the obligations established in this contract shall be borne by the tenant.

The data provided by the client will be used exclusively for the proper provision of the contracted service, and the client may request, in accordance with the law, access, rectification, cancellation or opposition by communicating to the lessor by any means.

The surfing equipment must be returned in the same condition as when it was delivered. If this is not the case, the renter must report any damage. The following replacement costs, imposed by the lessor, are accepted by the renter in this agreement.

SURFBOARDS:

Significant damage, partial or total bending, partial or total breakage, loss, or theft will result in the renter having to pay €280 for a Softboard, €300 for an Evolutiva/Epoxy NSP or Torq board up to 7'5" and €380 for boards larger than this size, €400 for an Indio, Pukas, and Channel Islands by Torq board, and €600 for a Torq longboard. Partial damage will be assessed according to the extent of the damage: fiberglass breakage (hole or crack) between €20 and €50. Damage to the fin box or fin plugs between €60 and €80.

Amarradera:

Loss or theft will incur a €15 charge. Breakage of the device (lanyard) or minor damage will not incur an extra charge as it is assumed to be a consequence of normal use of the material.
